The St Olivier jacket is made from softshell, a technical wind-resistant fabric with slight waterproofing while remaining breathable. It is fleece-lined for better comfort and warmth in cold weather. Its detachable hood with drawcords is also fleece-lined, and its waterproof zipped fastening effectively protects from the elements. Two outer zipped pockets lined with fleece, a zipped chest pocket and ribbed edges at the hem and cuffs complete the piece.

Synthetic-filled puffers are generally easy to maintain. To preserve their loft:
- Wash at a maximum of 40°C
- Limit spin to 1000 rpm
- Prefer tumble-drying with a tennis ball in the drum to restore volume
